UPDATE 04/24/22: We are ONLY accepting donations that include female toiletries (tampons, pads, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc.) NO PURSES for the time being.
Does any purse work?
Not necessarily, PFPL requires purses that are donated to be clean and emptied out to be accepted. Purses should also be deep enough to put products in (arm length). Besides that, any brand, color, and type works!
What female toiletries is PFPLA looking for?
Purses for a Purpose - Los Angeles is looking for products such as pads, tampons, hand sanitizers, small packages of baby wipes, unused/unopened makeup, hair products, contact solution, contact cases, body wash, hair ties, bobby pins, first-aid products, deodorant, toothpaste, floss, combs, facial masks and more!
What if my product is larger in size/bulky?
Large hygiene products will be accepted as we are also accepting donations of small containers! Products will be distributed back into the community evenly.
What about monetary donations?
We do accept monetary donations! Please donate through our gofundme on our donation page!
Does PFPLA have an address that I can drop donations at?
Currently, we do not have an address where donations can be dropped off at. We make it easy to donate by going directly to you and picking up your donations! Head over to the donation page to schedule a pickup or simply email us at pursesforapurposela@gmail.com
